Perlite Blasting
Perlite is a natural glass of volcanic origin with high water content. When heated suddenly at 750-1200°C causing the evaporation of the water it contains, its volume expands up to 20 times and turns into expanded perlite. This process is performed with Kromschröder burners and natural gas perlite burning systems. These systems keep high temperatures under control and heat the perlite quickly and homogeneously, resulting in ideal insulation properties.
